Feeding the Soul
I had one goal for the Summer when I was graduating in May and that was to be a person for a little while. I got so wrapped up in school and acting that I kind of forgot what a social life and hobbies were. I've been singing and doing little projects here and there--(including my first time professional on-camera job for an HBO pilot that I'll give more details on when I can!). But mostly I've been immersing myself in life's little pleasures.
I've been training for the Outer Banks Half-Marathon in November (which I will have the absolute pleasure of running with my big sister Timmery), have been cooking home-made organic meals with BlueApron.com (including the vegetarian Sopes pictured above), and earning some extra cash as a cocktail waitress.
Last week I used the cash tips I earned working on the 4th of July to buy a ticket to see Paolo Nutini at Terminal 5 in September! Believe it or not, I've never been to a concert before! Lots of Broadway musicals....and cabaret performances...but never a 'real' concert.
Post grad life has been pretty good and I'm refreshed and ready to create some new work. This Sunday I'm getting together with Kathleen Cameron to revise our two woman show SHAME-FULL which we orignally workshopped at the New Studio on Broadway in March. Details on that coming soon!
